I’m Dawn McClure, and I write romance in two very different flavors.
As Dawn McClure, I write contemporary romance filled with sharp banter, second chances, complicated families, Christmas chaos, and people who are absolutely not over each other. As D.M. McClure, I write darker paranormal romance with witches, demons, curses, blood oaths, and enough magick to make everyone’s life considerably more difficult.
I’ve been writing and publishing romance for years, and I previously taught my One Scene a Day writing process at SavvyAuthors. I live in South Dakota with my husband, drink an unreasonable amount of coffee, and firmly believe fictional people should have to work for their happily-ever-after.
Sometimes that means surviving an ancient curse.
Sometimes it means breaking into your ex’s house to steal back your cat.
